I just posted "Hang On To Yourself" to www.hipfans.com

----------------------------------

The accident that schaggs is referring to killed 2 people, injured at least 10 more, and involved 20 vehicles. The highway (North Americas busiest...) will be closed until sometime next week as it needs to be repaved!

Man what is up with all this sitting stuff? The last half-dozen shows people are saying how lethargic and boring people are. I feel sorry for you guys being yelled at to sit down and gettin beer thrown at you.

Damn you guys have to come to Winnipeg sometime. I think you get yelled at for sitting down. And at $6.50 a beer it's not worth it to throw :P

RevolutionMan wrote:alright enough about the crowd ruining the show it depends on where you were sitting. the crowd was almost totally young people and ive never seen that many people jump up and down for blow at high dough, and i was at the dvd filming, the canada day and wasaga shows of 04. i guess the sitting thing was spread out. i was in 112 and every one was standing it was great. escape was amazing and made the show incredible the best version ive ever heard. springtime in vienna was full of energy unlike someone elses previous post. i think it was the best version ive seen. maybe they were sitting down. world container the song, is now the hips beer song because every one got up and left so go buy the beer they stopped selling. i dunno the only complaint is that the set isnt long enough it seemed very short.
22 songs is a short setlist?

I think we all got spoiled by the "Evening With" Tour, where we were treated to 29-32 songs each night.

That being said... 22 is fantastic, 32 is unbelievable, and 42, well.... I'd need new pants after that.

Here we have the Hundreth Meridian featuring:

- javelin into Paul L with serious mission ahead....
- "want my gun" as he tosses into crowd (I giggle behind the camera)
- the football kick
- the jig, the gord dance, the shake
- tap dance on monitor inc. side tapping
- "some dance to remember some dance to forget"
- mic fights
- the ass shake and mic chord rub + grind
- cross-legged pose on monitor with shoe-toe-spit & shine
- the "both hands up I'm busted pose"
- backs into mic slides down into lawn-chair position
- towel over face
- in sitting position steering the car trick
- then into the Police "Walking On the Moon"... crowd echoes out a full line or so Gord S. is surpirsed
- then into "Do You Feel Like We Do" by Peter Frampton... with the low voice..laughs at himself...
- back into 100th

Over 11:32 on the clock.. for this one...
Anyone who thinks Gord D is getting old and is stuck behind the acoustic... ummmm send them this link !!!

Can't argue with that, that is by far the best performance of 100th I've ever seen at any concert I've been at. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for posting Meridian and LTR. Its cool to see it from a different angle.

I've now decided that this show is in my top three Hip shows.
