O give me a break, like they had it great before Harper. I cant stand someone trying to make everything into a political issue. This is The Hips show and has nothing to do with Harper.
Remember "The Hidden Agenda" that all of the left wing nuts were ranting about. The end of abortion, selling ourselves to the U.S. Recently Harper refused to open the abortion debate, and when Obama pushed back the pipeline deal again Harper went to China to talk oil trade. Yup he is such a right wing nut and none of the forcasts from the left wing have yet to come true. O and whats this Harper KEPT a promise and got rid of the gun registry. O man I think the Liberals (federally and provincially) should start taking notes on how to get the job done without lieing all the time.
The Natives have had it bad since day one and from the last I read the Liberals were in power for 75% of the time. So have a look in the mirror if you believe that Harper is somehow to blame for anything.
Its continued Canadian Public acceptance of the situation. If there was a movement that had steam and was across the board in support with demonstrations against the appaling conditions then change would happen. Its the lack of public support thats to blame. The quiet acceptance. The fact that the reserves are out of sight and out of mind in most cases.
