My name is Sal in Buffalo, NY. I've been listening to the Hip since they first hit the music scene thanks to 102.1 the edge radio in Toronto...great station!. Gordie and the boys really belt out some classic angst and jams. The music really speaks to me. The first Hip show I saw was at the Showplace Theater in Buffalo. It was a benefit concert and I'll carry that memory to my grave. Why? I was the first in line for tix. You actually had to pose for a picture for the tix, allowing you only two tix total, and only one other person could enter with you on the second tix.
The dvd is a torrent dload.
Speaking of...when I dload a torrent...how do I convert it to a useful dvd? Please help. I've read the faq's and they don't give much help other than telling you what bit torrents are.
Can't wait for the new disc!
Welcome Sal!!!
I don't fully understand your question about converting a torrent to a useful DVD. The audio recordings are primarily in FLAC format. This is a compressed format for which you can either decompress to WAV or AIFF, or you can get a player or plugin to play them directly.
The DVDs are in standard DVD format. Just burn them to a disc and put them in your player. The specific settings for your burning software may vary, but there are lots of helpful people here.
And with regards to that benefit show - where is it available for download?
