that version of new orleans was disastrous, i will say this once again, he in no way has to sing it exactly like the album version but come on!!!!

I agree, that was pretty atrocious. However, if he's gonna sing way outside of the original melody like that, I prefer that he does it on a song like New Orleans, since I've heard it a gazillion times over the years. If he ever did that on something like Pigeon Camera or Emperor Penguin, then I might get a little more upset about it.
