Really good show tonight, because it was in Atanta and a certain Atlantian band was just inducted to the Hall of Fame so you can guess which band got covered tonight :)

here we go with the setlist

01 - Rink
02 - NOIS
03 - Ocean
04 - Gus
05 - In View
06 - ABAC
07 - Last Night
08 - Poets
09 - World Container
10 - Long Time Running
11 - Don't Wake Daddy
12 - 100th meridian
13 - Good Life
14 - Luv Sic
15 - Locked In the Trunk of a Car
16 - Bobcaygeon
17 - Family Band
18 - Fully Completely
encore
19 - The End of the World As We Know It
20 - Kid's Don't Get It
21 - On The Verge

Next stop: Houston

That song is such a tongue twister (kinda like Sudbury Saturday Night).

I think an attempt at "I've Been Everywhere" would be funny to hear. There's noway that even Johnny could have performed that without messing up.

Awesome! I caught the setlist up on thehip.com, and my jaw dropped when I saw they covered REM (one of my favourite bands).

My first thought was whether or not somebody would record it.

Looks like my wish came true :thumb:

As someone who is on a big REM kick lately, this is nice to wake up to.

I could always see them doing So. Central Raind though.

Thanks Steve and Chris!

Someone in line told me they were practicing the cover in soundcheck. I was very impressed Gord would know and be able to fit in all the words. Of course, from my spot in the front row, I saw Billy Ray taping down the words and Gord did not take his eyes off of them...makes me feel better because no matter how many times I heard the song, about all I could remember was Leonard Brezhnev. But he did an excellent job with it, as did the others. They seemed to be having fun playing it.

I'm going to have to check out Wintersleep; I'd never heard of them (sorry, I'm from the states) and I was more than impressed.
